Homecoming Week at Hoke High. This years theme is Oz. Ms. Khan and Ms. Melvin dress for the occasion of seeing the wizard.
Turkey Festival 5K
Congratulation goes out to Hoke High School teacher, Racheal Hudson. She was the first female to cross the finish line and second overall. You go Girl.
Congratulations also goes out to a few of our Cross Country runners who chose to compete in the Turkey Festival 5K as a training race during their cross country season. They earned the following honors:
-DonyƩ Josey (sophomore) came in 2nd Place overall in the race.
-DonyƩ Josey was also 2nd place for males, ages 15-25.
-Isaac Farris (junior) was 3rd place for males, ages 15-25.
-Chelsey Johnson (senior) was 1st place for females, ages 15-25.
The Mighty Marching Bucks participated in their first competition this past Saturday hosted at Pine Forest High School. The MMB had an outstanding performance and earned the following honors: 1st Place Drum Majors, 1st Place Dance, 2nd Place Percussion, 2nd Place Music, 3rd Place Marching, and 3rd Place Flag. These achievements earned them 2nd place over all at the competition.
Hope to see you at the upcoming 4th Annual "Jimmy N. James" Buck Town Classic on October 11th starting at 4pm.

Students at Hoke High School learn and talk bout the art and life of the Great Bridget Riley. An Optical Illusion Painter in the 1960's. The album offers a few featured works of Art created by Hoke County Students 2014 Level One ART in likes of the Great Bridget Riley.
Hats off to parents, students and the staff for making the Meet the Teacher Night a success.
