We need your help! We need you and your child to join our research team! Everything about your visit is kept strictly confidential.

Formerly the Cognitive Development Project, the Childbirth and Development Project is a research group at Villanova University under Dr. Rebecca Brand studying the well-being of new moms and babies. We are looking for parents and infants (6 months-3 years) who are willing to visit our playroom for an hour or less to watch a short movie or play with some new toys. Your baby is changing every day! At the Cognitive Development Project at Villanova University, we are studying how these changes and milestones (sitting up, crawling, walking, talking) are related to one another through development.

If you have a child between 3 and 6 months and live in the U.S., please consider joining our research. Participation involves filling out short online surveys each month to help track your baby's milestones. At the end, you'll get a copy of your surveys as a keepsake!

On May 1, 2022, researchers will conduct a drawing for one of 4 $50 Visa gift cards. Please share with anyone who may be interested.

Participation is not required to enter the drawing.

We are looking for families with babies between 9 and 12 months to participate in fun online research!

The Cognitive Development Project at Villanova University is conducting an online research project to study how children learn and imitate from adults' demonstrations of new toys.
Participation involves a video call with one of our researchers, lasting less than 30 minutes. Your child's part will take about 5-7 minutes. They will get to watch fun demonstrations of new toys, and you will be free to stop the session at any time.

This research is conducted by Dr. Rebecca Brand and her students at Villanova.
