Our name says free. Our membership isn’t. That’s on purpose.

Earlier in our history, some PharmCon freeCE coursework was underwritten by educational grants, the same model most “free CE” sites still rely on. We moved to a subscription model on purpose, so the catalog answers to the pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and APRNs using it, not to a sponsor’s priorities.

That difference shows up most in the topics state boards require: pharmacy law, medication safety, human trafficking recognition. These courses protect patients, but they rarely attract sponsor funding.
