This summer we had two sessions of hitting camp! The girls were led in various tee and warm up drills to work on different aspects of their swings, practiced hitting off of the machine and front toss and worked on bunting and base running. We had a little homerun derby, and the classic fan favorite, hitting water balloons. Thanks so all the girls that came out, and special thanks to my older girls who came and helped out, you guys rock!! 🥎🔥💪🏼💜

We wrapped up our Summer Pitching Camp today with a splash! The girls played dodgeball with sponge balls that they had to pitch at each other, did a sponge relay race, pitched water balloons at the strike zone and worked on fielding. Their favorite part seemed to be trying to get the high school girls as wet as possible! So thankful for such an awesome turnout this year and especially thankful for all my high school pitchers who came and not only helped but were awesome role models for the younger girls! 💜👏🏼💪🏼🥎💦

Our first session of Summer Pitching Camp was a success! The weather was perfect, the girls were engaged and so much fun to work with! We worked on various ways to do our warm ups, talked about having reset phrases and our strengths, watched a little of the World Series and finished with some competitions! Introducing our April HEART Player of the Month, Kinley! This girl put in some WORK over the past couple of months and looks like a totally different pitcher. She used the balance beam daily as well as the power drive to work on getting more out of her legs and to stay taller and maintain good posture and balance! The hard work is really paying off and I can’t wait to see her in action this summer! Stay focused and keep having fun Kin! 💜💪🏼🥎
