With the 2027-2028 FAFSA opening just around the corner, we figured it was time for a refresher on what the FAFSA is, what it can help you access, and why you should do a FAFSA even if you think you won't use the aid offered to you.

📆 Mark your calendars for October 1, when the FAFSA releases, to complete it early and stay ahead of the game!

Use school code 003732 or use school search to find and select "Radford University" (if you are an RUC student, make sure to select "Radford University," not RUC, to ensure we receive your FAFSA!). By listing Radford University as one of your schools and colleges through the search or school code, the Federal Processor knows to send your submission our way! ✨

❓Did you know that a withdrawal can impact your financial aid?

Whether it's through changes in your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status or having less credits than needed for renewal requirements of certain awards, it could change your aid.

✨Before withdrawing, chat with us! We're happy to check your account to see how aid could change due to a class withdrawal -- and then you can feel confident in your decision to withdraw from a course!
