💙 Senior Sunday: Molly 💙

Molly’s first group dance with me was “Circle of Life,” and she was a lion. Naturally, I had her in this giant curly mane, and it was every bit as cute and hilarious as you’re imagining. 😂🦁 Ten years later, here we are celebrating her senior year. How did that happen?!

Molly, that little lion will always be one of my fondest memories of you, but I’m even more excited for everything you have ahead. I hope you head into this next chapter feeling proud of who you are and knowing you will always have people here cheering you on.

For now, we have a whole senior season to enjoy together, and I’m so happy we get to celebrate you! 💙

💛 Senior Sunday: Abigail 💛

Abigail joined our DWDC family last season, and this season we get to celebrate her as part of our Class of 2027! We’re so glad her dance journey brought her here and that we get to share such a special year with her.

Abigail, there’s so much excitement ahead, but don’t rush through the moments that are happening right now. Enjoy the dancing and the people that are right beside you. This year belongs to you! 💛

💙 Senior Sunday: Sophie 💙

Somehow we’re already celebrating your senior year, Sophie! It’s a little bittersweet knowing this season will lead to a new chapter, but we have so much dancing left to do before then. 🥹

You’ve become such a special part of our DWDC family, and I hope you take time this year to really enjoy what you’ve helped build here. Being a senior means more than having one last year onstage. It means being part of the memories other dancers will carry with them long after you graduate.

I’m so happy to share this season with you, and can’t wait to make a few more memories before your next adventure! 💙

Today we’re supporting our neighbors right down the street at Derek Wagner Dance Center! Stop in for lunch, dinner, or grab something to-go and 10% of food sales will go back to DWDC.

Good excuse to skip cooking tonight, if you ask us. 😉

🌟DWDC 2026 Student of the Year🌟

Watching Annie grow up at DWDC has been such a special part of my life as a teacher. Somewhere along the way, the little girl who came into the studio to take dance class became a young woman I could trust to help guide the next generation of dancers.

Annie has a way of making an impact without ever needing to make something about herself. She shows up, does the work, and pays attention to the people around her. When she works with our younger dancers, they naturally gravitate toward her because they can feel how much she genuinely cares about them.

Over the years, I have watched Annie continue to challenge herself and grow not only as a dancer, but as a leader within our studio. She has become someone I can rely on and someone who represents DWDC beautifully.

Annie, I am incredibly proud of the young woman you have become!! It has been an honor to be part of your journey, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of representing DWDC as our Student of the Year!

🎉 DWDC IS PERFORMING AT RADFORD COMMUNITY FEST! 🎉

We’re so excited to be part of Radford Community Fest this Saturday, August 22nd! ❤️💙💛

Dancers from the DWDC will be taking the stage with some of our favorite high-energy routines, and we would LOVE to see a big crowd there cheering them on!
