This spring, the Criminal Justice Department will sponsor a study abroad trip to London!

Travel to London, with side trips to Oxford and Cambridge, will occur for 10 days over the week of spring break. Before and after spring break, we will meet on campus to prepare for and reflect upon the travel.

Earn three credit hours in CRJU-430, International Criminal Justice! All students are welcome, from any major, with no prerequisites.

Discover the roots of American crime, law, and justice through an immersive study abroad experience! We will visit places that shaped the history of justice, explore one of Europe's oldest legal traditions, and examine how England's institutions continue to influence professional practice in the United States today. Along the way, you may discover new perspectives about justice and about the world around you!

Criminal Justice Associate Professor, Dr. Lindsay Semprevivo, has been hard at work creating a restorative horticulture program for local institutionalized youth that promotes healing, resilience, and long-term well-being among individuals impacted by the criminal legal system.

The CRJU Department would like to express its appreciation to all the participants of today’s mock interview event!

A special thank you to Kim Powers (Senior Probation and Parole Officer, Radford Probation and Parole), Emily Hite (Sergeant, Radford City Police), Jerry Holdaway (Chief, Radford City Police), and Gavin Scott (Recruiter, Virginia State Police) for taking time out of their day to volunteer as panel members and interview CRJU students.

Our students benefit greatly from the advice and expertise provided during this event, which helps them become better prepared for job interviews after graduation.
