One of the programs Radford offers is Radford in Puerto Rico: Social Work - Family Well-Being. Here is Debbie Scott’s testimonial who attended this program in Spring 2024: “We toured Old San Juan. There was so much history just in that part of Puerto Rico. But the one thing that I enjoyed the most was the food. The beaches were so clean, and the sand was so white and amazing. During our trip we visited Ponce, El Yunque, the rain forest. the beach near Luquillo, a Women’s Organization that helps with startup companies for women, and the University of Puerto Rico. At the university, we got to see how social workers in Puerto Rico engage with their community. The week went too fast and someday I hope to go back.”

Interested in going to field school abroad? Here is Audrey Allen’s experience in Romania: “ I had the opportunity to participate in a field school in Romania through ArchaeoTek. It was an incredible experience where I got to take part in real excavations and learn hands-on field documentation techniques. I worked alongside professors and graduate students from two different universities who were always willing to share their knowledge. Beyond the fieldwork, we also had time to explore Romania and visit many of its beautiful and historic sites. This was an experience I’ll never forget!”
