Greetings from Radford University!

The Department of Information Technology and the Center for Information Security at Radford University are proud to announce our 5th annual RUSecure CTF Contest. The Preliminary Round of the RUSecure CTF Contest will run from Saturday, October 28th through Saturday, December 2nd. The Preliminary Round is designed to be educational providing hints, instruction videos and other materials with each challenge allowing student teams to learn and explore over an entire month. Teams are made up of 3 to 5 students and a coach. Coaches must be a faculty or staff member of the school the team represents.

The RUSecure CTF Qualifying Round for high school and community college students is now into the second and final week. The scores are very tight and you can follow along at www.ructfbox.com/scores. This page will give you a warning the first time but it is ok!

Keep in mind that the top seven teams will be invited to campus for the final round on April 29th with the caveat that no more than two teams representing the same school will be allowed into the finals.
