Fall is a wonderful time to harvest the fruits, vegetables, and flowers we’ve grown! 🌱

It’s a time to investigate why those tiny carrots didn’t grow to their full potential and what we can do to make the next ones grow better. 🥕

It’s also an important time to harvest and save seeds for next year’s garden. Students are learning how to properly collect, dry, label, and store seeds so they can be planted again in the future. Every seed holds the promise of a new season of growing! 🌻

There’s just something magical about letting kids get their hands dirty and watch their hard work turn into something that grows! 🌱 From planting seeds and pulling weeds to discovering bugs, frogs, and harvesting their own veggies, the greenhouse is a place where kids can learn, laugh, get a little muddy, and grow right alongside their plants. 🌻👩‍🌾

(The white pumpkin came from seeds from the very first pumpkin ever grown in the MVES greenhouse years ago❤️.)
