In Mrs. Smalls' classroom, Tiny Trojans are building their math vocabulary, using manipulatives to make their learning hands-on, and exploring positional words as they describe where things are. So much learning happening through exploration, conversation, and play!

On Fridays, during special area classes, our students enjoy movement-based activities related to their classroom content. This week, students experienced nursery rhymes hands-on with our art, music, PE and library teachers as reinforcement of our Amplify comprehension curriculum. We love the collaboration for our students!

The adventure continues in Ms. Mowry’s room! 💙 Our Tiny Trojans are practicing working in small groups, getting ready for academic activities, learning how to use their classroom tools, and building those important classroom routines. Most importantly, they are learning to work together, support one another, and become a classroom family. So much learning and growing happening every day!

North Park community and friends - we are getting ready to launch our major fundraiser of the year - Buzzy's Glow Fun Run! We are so excited to raise money that will directly be used to support our students (field trips, incentives, monthly PBIS rewards, school clubs). Ms. Pence's kindergarten tiny trojans have begun their adventure into learning! 💙 This week, they have been busy with show and tell bags, practicing handwriting, matching numbers, and using positional words to create drawings. So much learning, growing, and fun happening in our classrooms!

What a successful first full week for our Tiny Trojans! 💙 Kindergarten may be the only students in the building right now, but there has been no shortage of learning, hard work, and laughter. Our kindergarten teams have been working hard to build routines, make connections, and help our newest Trojans feel right at home.

Behind the scenes, our entire North Park team has been pitching in wherever needed to make this first week a success. It truly takes all of us, and we are so thankful for a team that shows up for our students every day. What a great start to the year!
