OH MY GOD, HE IS SO DEPRESSED They say animals aren’t intelligent but they are. This horse knows where he is. He knows he’s about to die. He has his head hanging in the corner. He’s not even afraid anymore — just show down, resigned to his fate. He gave twenty years of good service as a work horse to his ex Amish owners and this is his thank you. We’re inside the slaughter holding facility trying to save 30 drafts from slaughter and donations have practically ground to a halt. Views are down. Shares are down.
