We are beyond grateful to our families, friends and community members who have supported our Check-A-Thon so far πŸ’™

Because of your generosity, we’re now less than $1,000 away from our $7,000 goal, which would fully pay off our playground!

What an incredible way to wrap up the school year and head into the next one, with this big milestone behind us.

Today is our last day of school and our final push to reach the goal. If you’re able to contribute, any amount truly helps. Just click the link below to be taken to our donation page:

Yesterday, our 1st through 5th graders took a field trip the Racine Zoo!

They attended the "Animals of the World" educational program, where they learned all about reptiles and then spent the day exploring.

Thank you, Racine Zoo, for having us! We can't wait to come back!

Thank you to Rhino Bar (and friends of Rhino Bar) for their generous $3,400 donation to our school! πŸ₯³

We were thrilled to have one of our incredible students, Donald, present the check on behalf of his family and the Rhino Bar community.

Thank you so much for your support! We are truly honored ❀️

Music, bags, free books, dancing, food, and a book fair. So much fun!

Special thanks to Mr.P's Grilled Cheese LLC and Kona Ice for keeping us fed and cool.

Today our entire Sonnenberg Schools staff had the opportunity to tour our new campus at 1722 W. 6th St. and begin the exciting work of preparing the space for our students.

Staff worked together moving items from our administrative building, rearranging furniture, and getting classrooms and spaces ready. It was a long, exhausting day, but the teamwork was incredible and a reminder of how much heart goes into this organization every day.

This is just the beginning of what will be a very busy summer as we continue preparing this campus for our amazing students. We ended the day sharing lunch together in our new gym… tired, excited, and incredibly thankful for such a dedicated staff! πŸ’™

Our annual Check-a-Thon is here πŸ’™

As a small nonprofit school serving students with disabilities right here in Racine, we rely on the support of our community to help us continue growing and serving the amazing students and families who walk through our doors.

Our goal is to raise $7,000 through this initiative by May 28th!
