As we recognize , the DPI reminds educators and staff of the many ways we can support LGBTQ youth.
One simple but meaningful way is to display an Out for Safe Schools badge, which sends a subtle but crucial message: “You can talk to me.”

As we close out the year, we had the honor of celebrating some of the most dedicated educators in our community — our retiring members! After decades of showing up for students, families, and each other, these incredible individuals are closing a chapter that has shaped countless lives. From the first bell to the last, they gave everything — patience, creativity, compassion, and heart.
As we celebrate the end of another school year, we also celebrate the end of their extraordinary careers in service to the children and families of our community. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
Wishing our retirees all the rest, joy, and adventure they so richly deserve. Congratulations! ✊
