Our RLHS seniors are heading out for one of the highlights of their senior year—the Senior Leadership Retreat!

A special thank you to the incredible Mrs. Michael for organizing this meaningful experience and for all the time, hard work, and heart she puts into making it so special for our students. We are also incredibly grateful for our dedicated staff and chaperones who give their time to make this retreat possible.

We pray for safe travels, great weather, lots of laughter, meaningful conversations, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Get Involved. Find Your Thing. Grow. 💜💛

Today, our entire RLHS student body gathered for an all-school assembly to learn about the many clubs and activities available to our students! From service to leadership, creativity, and special interests, there are so many ways to make the most of the high school experience.

We want our students to have a FULL high school experience—and that includes getting involved, trying something new, building friendships, discovering interests, and growing along the way.

Families, talk with your student about what they heard today and ask them: “Which club or activity interests you most?” Encourage them to give something a try!

We can’t wait to see our Crusaders get involved, step outside their comfort zones, and discover all that God has in store for them!

SENIOR SUNRISE 💜💛

What a glorious morning to gather together and celebrate the beginning of senior year in the beauty of God’s creation!

As our seniors watched the sunrise, may they be reminded that just as every part of creation has been created with purpose, they, too, have been created by God for a purpose.

May they discover and live out the purpose He has intended for their lives—and may they always remember that their greatest purpose is found in living their lives in Christ.

IT STARTS WITH US. RIGHT NOW. 💜💛

Today in chapel, Mr. Nelson, along with our senior leaders Albert Holewinski, Lukas Kivenas, Ella Po***ck, Matthew Pataska, Andrew Schuler, Judea Robinson, and Izzy Lisowski, led us in worship and challenged us to focus on who we are called to be.

Our mission is clear: Preparing students for a life of purpose in Christ.

And that purpose is lived out through our four pillars:

* Faith
* Learning
* Character
* Leadership

But it doesn't start someday. It starts with us. It starts right now.

And we are not alone. We have God. Our theme this year, “Call on Him,” reminds us of the promise found in Psalm 145:18:

“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”

So, Crusaders, let’s do this. Let’s live out our purpose in Christ—every day, in everything we do. Let’s grow in Faith, Learning, Character, and Leadership, knowing that God is with us every step of the way.

This is who we are. This is what we’re called to do. And it starts with us. Right now. 💜💛

We are proud to congratulate Jillian Widmar, Izzy Lisowski, and Kailyn Falaschi on representing Racine Lutheran High School at Badger Girls State this summer! 🇺🇸

These outstanding students were selected to participate because of their leadership, character, academic commitment, and involvement in their school and community. They represented RLHS with pride while gaining valuable experience in leadership, citizenship, and government.

Our newest Crusaders took time to reflect on their first few days of high school. 💜💛

In Mrs. Hammond’s English class, freshmen shared what they are:

🏫 Missing from middle school

Then, working in groups, they organized their responses and shared them with the class—discovering that they’re not alone! So many of the same thoughts and feelings are part of starting something new.

📚💜💛 DAY 1 IS IN THE BOOKS! 💛💜📚

The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway at Racine Lutheran High School!

The halls were full of smiles, happy faces, and plenty of excitement as our Crusaders came back together for the first day of school.

It was great to welcome everyone back, reconnect with friends, and kick off another amazing year at RLHS.

We are grateful to senior Mia Ruiz for her thoughtful submission that inspired our 2026–2027 RLHS school theme:

“Call on Him…”
“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” — Psalm 145:18

What a wonderful reminder as we begin a new school year that we are never alone. In every challenge, opportunity, and moment of uncertainty, we can call on our loving God, knowing He is near.

This theme beautifully reflects our mission at Racine Lutheran High School—to prepare each student for a life of purpose in Christ through Faith, Learning, Character, and Leadership.
