🏓 Pickleball fever has officially made its way to Knapp… and our students are ALL IN! 😎

Our Knapp Pickleball League is off to a great start, and we have Coach Dubs (Weston Lorenz) and Coach Zyaire to thank for making it happen!
Coach Dubs serves on the Racine Area Pickleball Club Committee and came ready to play: he generously donated a brand-new net, paddles, AND pickleballs to get our students started. He and Coach Zyaire volunteer their time every Tuesday to teach the game, coach our kids, and cheer them on. ❤️🖤

We love giving students opportunities to try something new and have FUN! We’ve got a Pickleball Championship Team in the making!🏆😂

Knapp Crew Member of the Month 🖤❤️⚓️

This year, Knapp launched a new staff appreciation tradition - giving staff the opportunity to recognize one another for truly embodying our “all hands on deck” mentality.
Because at Knapp, it takes every person, in every moment of every day, showing up for students and doing their part to make a difference in our building.

For the month of September, we were excited to recognize Tony Perry and Monique Tuell!

👏 Tony Perry
Tony’s official title is Head Engineer, but he is so much more than that. In addition to keeping our building running each day, Tony has made our students, staff, and families a priority. He greets students at the door each morning, builds connections with staff throughout the day, and genuinely cares about the success of our entire school community. We might be a little biased, but we believe we have the best engineer in RUSD - and we are incredibly lucky to have him!

👏 Monique Tuell
Mrs. T has been part of the Knapp family for the past couple of years and truly lives out what “all hands on deck” means. She is incredibly flexible, willing to step in wherever she is needed at a moment’s notice, and can be found supporting students in classrooms and hallways, covering duties when someone is absent, or helping wherever the day takes her - always with a smile on her face.

Tony and Mrs. T, thank you for the many ways you show up for Knapp every single day. We appreciate you, we see you, and we are so lucky you’re part of our crew! ❤️⚓
