The clouds were beautiful, the sky was bright, and the sun was shining making it the perfect day for our LaPre Academy zoo trip to Brookfield Zoo in Chicago!

Our kiddos and families had a great time exploring, learning about animals, and creating memories together.

Days like these remind us that some of the best learning happens through discovery, wonder, and fun. 💙

Next week at LaPre Academy, we’re honoring Juneteenth with a special Spirit Week! Through fun activities, themed dress-up days, and age-appropriate learning experiences, our children will explore the importance of freedom, resilience, and unity.

As we celebrate the journey of those who came before us, we also inspire our little learners to appreciate diversity, respect one another, and embrace the beauty of our shared history.

This program supports children’s growth in early literacy, social-emotional development, communication, problem-solving, and school readiness through engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.

Parents can feel confident knowing their child is building the foundation needed to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Over our workshop dates, kiddos will create, imagine, and build their fashion pieces — then show off their hard work during our **Project Runway Fashion Showcase at the Junkyard Redemption Block Party on Saturday, August 22nd!** 🎉✨

Today is a special day as two of our LaPre girls, Sa’Mya and Ariah, took the field for their very first official flag football game with the Powerful Panthers!

We are so proud of these young athletes for stepping out, learning new skills, building confidence, and being part of a team. The courage it takes to try something new and the discipline it takes to keep showing up are lessons that will serve them far beyond the football field.

A big shoutout to the coaches and families who are investing their time and energy into these young ladies.
