The Ohio River Producers (Racine Southern FFA Alumni) are kicking off our FALL FUNDRAISER!

This fundraiser is taking the place of the annual FFA fruit sales, and we’re hoping our community will continue showing the same great support!

🎃💐 PUMPKIN FLORAL ARRANGEMENT ONLINE AUCTION! 💐🎃

Our Greenhouse Class got creative today and made these beautiful pumpkin floral arrangements, and now YOU have a chance to take one home! 🍂🌻

We are holding an online bidding auction, and the highest bidder on each arrangement will be the winner!

📣 HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
🎃 Place your bid on the original picture you wish to bid on!
⏰ Bidding closes TONIGHT (Thursday, 10/15) at 8:00 PM!
💵 Payment must be made by cash or check payable to Ohio River Producers.
🏫 Winners must pick up and pay for their arrangements at the school on Friday, 10/16, before the end of the school day.

🌱 Where does the money go? All proceeds will help support our future greenhouse sale!

🐴 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🐴

On Tuesday, our FFA members attended the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio! The Congress is the world’s largest horse show, bringing together exhibitors, industry professionals, and horse enthusiasts from across the country.

Our students had the opportunity to see the equine industry in action, observe top-level horse competitions, learn about different riding disciplines, and explore the many career opportunities available in the horse industry. They also gained a better understanding of horse care, management, and the skills and dedication it takes to succeed in the equine world.

Experiences like these allow our members to connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world opportunities and explore their interests in agriculture! 🌾🐎

🌱 Green Career Week! 🌿

Today, our Greenhouse class toured Bob’s Market & Greenhouse in Mason, WV! Students had the opportunity to learn more about their business and see how greenhouse production, plant care, and retail operations come together in the green industry. Experiences like this help our students explore career opportunities and connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world jobs!

A huge thank you to John for the tour and for sharing his knowledge with our students! We also want to thank Bob’s Market & Greenhouse for donating soil to our greenhouse program. We truly appreciate your support of our students and agricultural education! 🌼🌱
