13-0. The Racine Raiders are Mid-West United Football League champions in their first year in the league after a 17-14 win over the Illinois Cowboys on Saturday at Ameche Field.

Kicker Brady Wodack — primarily a punter — put through a career-long 49-yarder with 1:07 to play. Head coach Wilbert Kennedy said he hit a 60-yarder in practice this week: "He has a lot of confidence — he doesn't get shook."

Howard Triplett carried five straight times to set up the kick. A national championship playoff series is expected; no dates yet.

Wodack, the Racine Raiders kicker and punter, made a career-long 49-yard field goal with 1:07 left in the fourth quarter to give the Raiders a three-point
