🌳 Help us build a future for a little girl in our Growing Tree family.

At just four years old, Koreem Ozier’s daughter recently lost her father to gun violence. Along with the heartbreaking loss of her dad, she faces a future without the support he would have provided as she grew.

Growing Tree Child Development Center has organized this GoFundMe to create a fund dedicated to her future. We will assist her mother in establishing an account to preserve these donations for when she is older—whether her path leads to college, career training, or other dreams.

Nothing can replace her father, but together, we can help support her future and remind her that she has a community standing beside her.

Acorn explored stacking blocks by picking them up, holding them, and placing one block on top of another. Through this activity, we practiced hand-eye coordination, grasping, reaching, and fine motor skills while exploring balance, cause and effect, and spatial awareness.

🍎🍂 The last two weeks have been full of learning in our GKR 4K classroom! We focused on the letter F and are finishing up E while exploring apples and fall.

Our 4K friends created Apple Families, fall tree paintings, and torn-paper apple trees. We’ve also been strengthening our fine motor skills and learning our letters through our “See It, Do It, Feel It, Write It” activities. We even started practicing name identification and writing! ✏️

Along with all the projects, we’ve been working on school readiness, classroom routines, and building new friendships. We’re proud of the way our class is growing together and can’t wait to explore our next two letters: D and P! 💛

🍂🌰 Saplings Class Acorn Fun! 🌰🍂
Our Saplings had so much fun using dot markers to decorate their paper acorn cutouts! The children practiced making dots, exploring colors, and filling in their acorns while creating their own unique fall artwork. 🎨🍁
This activity helped strengthen fine motor skills as the children grasped and controlled the dot markers, while also supporting hand-eye coordination, visual tracking, color recognition, and concentration. The children practiced making choices, expressing their creativity, and building confidence as they worked independently and proudly showed off their finished acorns! 💛
We love watching our little learners explore, create, and grow through hands-on activities! 🌰🍂✨

Sensory exploration in the sprouts classroom today! 😄🌱

Sprouts kiddos worked on making sensory bottles using different textured fall items like mini pumpkins, leaves, acorns and pinecones. They explored the items and then used their fine motor skills to place the items in their sensory bottles. When completed we will place these in the classroom for the children to continue to explore, play and shake their sensory bottles. ☺️

🪲🪰Our little artists in acorns had a fun-filled day painting! We used our imagination to make magical firefly catchers, perfect for exploring the wonder of summer evenings. It was a day full of creativity, nature, and a little bit of sparkle! ✨🌻🪲

The Saplings classroom is preparing for Autumn by making fall leaves!🍁 We used pre cut leaves and painted them with brown paint and foam paint brushes🎨
This activity helps us develop our fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and color recognition! We talked about each color leaf we used and how the leaves with soon begin to change color and fall from the trees!🌳
