There is a lot of excitement around possible changes to the process for acquiring NFA items. We are awaiting dealer guidance from the ATF, as well as the WI state DOJ, on what we are legally able to do or what the new process is. We are also considering the risks of the changes and whether or not that could result in issues now or longer term - both for customers and our business.

As of right now, all NFA transfers still need a form 4. If/when we are able to do anything different, we will announce as much.

Great to see things trending in the right direction!

UPDATE 8/13: Indications are WI state law still requires a form 4 to be completed. This is not a surprise as WI law has some nuances when it comes to NFA items. We will continue to learn more.

An excellent example of ideal dot movement. The dot dipping too much or not directly returning back to your point of aim indicates unnecessary input on the gun from one or both hands.

Nice to see so much improvement in our Intermediate Defensive Rifle class yesterday. These students confirmed the basics and a properly set up rifle before moving on to some more advanced stuff.

We covered malfunctions in more detail, pistol transitions, timed drills to test speed vs accuracy, movement, using cover and concealment, varying positions and much more.

This class also spends some time myth-busting to see what works best. For example, is a reload or sidearm transition faster in getting rounds back on target?

Rainy but productive Intermediate Defensive Handgun class this past Saturday! Students refreshed the basics, then explored positional shooting, moving and shooting, furthered reps on loading and malfunctions, and worked on sight confirmation levels and target transitions.

Intermediate level classes are great refreshers on the fundamental skills, and they also force students to leap to another level. Nice job everyone!

These guys became Competent Gunfighters yesterday, learning how to problem solve when everything goes wrong.

To fight off certain defeat, you need to maintain a strong mental ability along with a practiced skill set that keeps you in the fight.

Students trained on keeping their gun up and running through malfunction, physical limitations, and environmental challenges. This class offers a great opportunity to work on things seldom practiced safely elsewhere.

Dust off your scatterguns! Advanced Defensive Shotgun on 9/20 is now open for registration! This class brings all of the critical shotgun skills like marksmanship, shell changes, slug transitions, and feeding the beast, to a higher level with movement, multiple targets, various positions, and a ballistics lab.
