We are so grateful and proud to have had 6 teams competing at the Louisiana FFA State CDE contest on LSU campus today!

Our students competed in Meat ID, Milk Quality, Nursery/Landscape, Poultry Judging, Small Engines and Vet Science against the best of the best.

A big congratulations to our Meat ID team for placing 1st! They will be competing at Nationals in October. Team consists of Kale Guidry, Madelyn Fossum, Tripp Marcel, and Anthony Plaisance.

46 Central Lafourche FFA members competed at the Area 4 Spring CDE contest and they did amazing!

Meat ID - 1st place

Central Lafourche FFA rocked it today💙💛

🐎🐎🐎We started off the Livestock/Horse Judging trip with a stop at Acadiana Equine Hospital and Copper Crowne Equestrian Center to learn about the racehorse industry with Dr. Kristen Weimer. Students then took a tour of McNeese Farm and learned about the hands-on opportunities at the university!

🐐 🐂🐏🐖Our Livestock Judging team placed 1st in Area 4 and 4th in the state out of 71 teams!

Our members competed at the State ENR contest today in Ruston. We are very proud to congratulate them on winning 1st in the state and getting to represent Louisiana at next year’s National Convention in Indianapolis.🏆💙💛

What a week it has been at the 98th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis! Our members started off the trip with visits to Churchill Downs, the Indianapolis Zoo, and Harvest Nights at the Newfields.

Our Environmental and Natural Resources Team placed 8th in the Nation earning a Gold as a team.

The team consisted of:
