Founded in 1903, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School is a college-preparatory school serving boarding and day students in grades PK-12. Challenging academics are offered in classes of 16 or fewer students, with honors and Advanced Placement courses available. Located on a 1400-acre campus in the north Georgia mountains only 2 hours from Atlanta, students may also pursue arts, athletic and outdoor programs.

On Wednesdays, our school community comes together to pause for a moment of stillness, reflection, and worship. Chapel is a key part of the Rabun Gap experience. Rooted in our Christian heritage, spiritual growth at Rabun Gap is woven into the fabric of our community, nurturing purpose, compassion, and a deeper understanding of self and others.

Friday night lights hit differently at Rabun Gap! 🏈⚡️

Thank you to our fans for showing up for our home opener last Friday night at Zavala Family Stadium! From the energy of our student section to our fans filling the stands, the atmosphere proved what makes our school community so special. Kicking off the school year with purpose! 💫

For the first two days of school, our Upper School students dove straight into community service as part of their orientation activities. The impact? Together, they contributed more than 800 hours of service across 22+ sites throughout the region!

Their enthusiasm and dedication truly embody our mission—service, character, and community—and set the tone for this year’s theme: Together We Lead, Together We Grow.
