🎉 Celebrating Success at Delta Innovative School! 🎉

At Delta, we believe in recognizing hard work, celebrating achievements, and rewarding those who are doing things the right way!

🏆 We celebrated our Students of the Month, Staff of the Month, and ESS Employee of the Month with a delicious meal from JnJ’s! Thank you to JnJ’s for helping us recognize those who continue to set the standard!

💚 We also recognized our Honor Roll students and students who are ALL GREEN on their assignments! These students earned entries into a special raffle for CASH and FOOD prizes! 💵🍔

Whether it’s academic excellence, completing assignments, showing leadership, or going above and beyond, we want our students and staff to know that their hard work does not go unnoticed!

At Delta, we don’t just talk about success — WE CELEBRATE IT!

The Standard is the Standard!

A little culture, creativity, and hands-on learning at Delta! 🎨

Mrs. Johnson’s students had the opportunity to participate in a fun Tortilla Art activity led by Professor Vasquez from Valdosta State University’s Art & Design program in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Students were able to learn, create, and celebrate culture through art while enjoying a unique hands-on experience. We truly appreciate Professor Vasquez for spending time with our students and sharing her creativity with Delta!

💐 Happy Custodian Day from the Delta Family! 💐
Today we’re celebrating three amazing ladies who help make Delta a welcoming place for our students and staff every day — Niki Bevard, Betty Gray, and Ms. Rosetta! ❤️

Thank you for all the hard work, care, and love you put into our school. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but we see you, we appreciate you, and we are grateful to have you as part of our Delta family!

Happy Custodian Day, ladies! We appreciate you today and every day! ❤️

Our Wiregrass Dual Enrollment students are putting in the work and doing an outstanding job in Welding!

Today, we’re highlighting Zy’maiah Parsons as she shares her experience as a young lady in the welding program and why she believes more girls should take advantage of opportunities like this.

At Delta, we want our students to see that careers don’t have labels. If you have the interest, the drive, and the willingness to learn—the opportunity is yours.

Student Leadership in Action!

We are extremely proud of our student leader, Stafford Berrian, for the outstanding job he did last night recognizing and congratulating our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year, Dr. Monia Thomas.

Stafford stepped up, represented Delta well, and showed exactly what student leadership looks like. Moments like this remind us why we work to give our students opportunities to lead, speak, and represent their school.

Great job, Stafford, and congratulations again to Dr. Thomas!

It’s MONDAY…

When you walk in to ask the secretary “one quick question” and she gives you THAT look…

Yeah… maybe come back Tuesday. 😂
