A huge thank you to Senator Sam Watson for having some of our Brooks County FFA members to tonight’s Agricultural Industry Dinner! 🌱🐖💙

Our students had a wonderful time meeting and hearing from Congressman Austin Scott and Congressman David Rouzer. It was also great, as always, to see Commissioner Tyler Harper and so many other familiar faces and leaders from Georgia’s agriculture industry.

Opportunities like this allow our FFA members to connect with agricultural leaders, learn more about the industry, and see firsthand the impact agriculture has across our state. We are so thankful for everyone who invests in the next generation of agriculture! 💙🌾

Over the past three days, our BCMS FFA Officer Team has been hard at work during Chapter Officer Leadership Training!

These students dedicated their time to growing as leaders while preparing for an exciting year ahead. Throughout training, they learned the importance of teamwork, communication, goal setting, and servant leadership. They also explored budgeting and fundraising, practiced planning chapter activities and events, and discovered what it takes to lead a successful FFA chapter.

Of course, it wasn’t all work! We mixed in team-building challenges, leadership activities, and plenty of fun while strengthening friendships and learning to work together as one team.

We are incredibly proud of the commitment, enthusiasm, and leadership these officers have shown over the past few days. We can’t wait to see all they accomplish this year as they serve our members, school, and community.

Here’s to another amazing year for BCMS FFA!

⚡️ Congratulations to DaVonna Milton on graduating from the ACE Electric AMP Internship Program! We are incredibly proud of your hard work, dedication, and the commitment you’ve shown throughout this opportunity.

DaVonna was the only female intern in the Valdosta area, making this achievement even more remarkable. We can’t wait to see how you use the knowledge and experience you’ve gained to inspire and encourage your peers.

Congratulations, DaVonna! Your Brooks County FFA family is proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what your future holds! 💙💛🎉

A big thank you to Coastal Plains Farmers Co-op for inviting us to today’s Lunch & Learn! We enjoyed hearing from Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Tyler Harper, as well as representatives from various seed and fertilizer companies.

It’s always a great day when we have the opportunity to learn more about agriculture and the impact it has on our community and across our state. We appreciate everyone who took the time to share their knowledge and support agricultural education!

Days 3 & 4 of Summer Leadership Camp have been full of memories, laughter, and leadership! ☀️🏕️

Our Brooks County FFA members have had a blast competing in the swim meet, conquering the mud course, bonding as a team, so many different free rec activities and becoming the UNDEFEATED softball champions! 🏊‍♀️🥎🏆

Most importantly, we’ve spent the week growing as leaders and learning new ways to serve our chapter and community. While we’re sad that our time at camp is coming to an end, we’re excited to bring back everything we’ve learned and experienced to Brooks County FFA. 💙💛
