Mrs. Simmons passed our ‘PAWS UP’ award to Mrs. Vaughn. This is what she had to say, “Mrs. Vaughn works tirelessly to ensure every student receives what they need to succeed. She is constantly thinking outside the box and coming up with tricks and strategies to help the students grow and succeed in the classroom. She is an amazing teammate and an important piece of our learning community.”

Coach B passed the ‘PAWS UP’ award to Mrs. Simmons! Here is what he had to say, “Mrs. Simmons is a proud Bulldog alum and she exhibits that every single day in her classroom and in the halls. Mrs. Simmons happily greets kids at her door, she teaches with passion and she has done a tremendous job at establishing meaningful positive relationships with her students and their families. I have witnessed Mrs. Simmons sacrifice personal time throughout her day and after hours to ensure her students are getting her best every single day. She is an excellent communicator, loves our students and is once again a big part of our Quitman Bulldog family and culture. “

1st grade passed the ‘Paws Up” award to Coach B. This is what they had to say about him. “Coach B can be seen around campus interacting, encouraging students, and jumping in when he sees a need. He is continuously building relationships with students and teachers that support and encourage a positive culture within our school. Coach B regularly checks in with students to ensure that he truly cares about them. He works to provide a safe environment for all teachers and students by holding students accountable and providing support to teachers. We are so thankful to have Coach B on our campus and a part of our Bulldog family!”

Quitman HOSA was awarded a Trophy from Our Blood Institute recognizing our successful Blood drives last year. We had 84 procedures and collected 107 products. Quitman was awarded at the International Leadership Conference this summer in Dallas and was the ONLY Arkansas school to be recognized. Our next Blood drive is October 4th. Check out Our Blood Institute to donate and save a life!
