We’re so proud to see Brooks County School Nutrition represented at today’s GSNA Kickoff Luncheon in Macon! 🥜❤️

Our School Nutrition Director, Chef Chynna Silvernale, had the opportunity to share how we’re putting Georgia Peanuts on our menus and creating fun, delicious ways for students to enjoy this Georgia-grown favorite!

A huge thank you to the Georgia School Nutrition Association and Georgia Peanuts for the opportunity to share ideas, recipes, and a little Brooks County culinary creativity with school nutrition professionals from across the state. 🥜👩‍🍳

We are proud of the work happening in our kitchens and even prouder to represent Brooks County Schools! ❤️💙

🌮 Our Beef & Cheese Enchiladas were a BIG hit at all of our schools today! 🎉❤️

And a special kudos to Mr. Brown for testing and creating a possible new recipe that may be coming soon… 👀

Everything was flavorful, filling, and—most importantly—made with love! ❤️

🔥 NEW MENU ITEMS TODAY! 🔥

Today our students got to try two new items — S’mores Overnight Oats and Buffalo Chicken Dip! 😋

We love finding fun and creative ways to introduce new flavors while still serving meals our students can get excited about. The S’mores Overnight Oats brought a sweet twist to breakfast, and the Buffalo Chicken Dip added a little extra flavor to lunch!

We hope our students enjoyed trying something new today! ❤️🍎

🍕🍝 Pizzghetti Day!

Today we served Pizzghetti at all of our schools, and our students at Quitman Elementary LOVED it! ❤️

We also tested a brand-new recipe that will be making its debut on September 1st — Cheesy Beef Enchiladas! 🌮🧀 The flavor is absolutely out of this world, and our School Nutrition team gave it two thumbs up!

We can’t wait for our students to try it, and we hope your children love it just as much as we do! We are so excited to continue bringing new, flavorful meals to our cafeterias! ❤️🍎
