Though it was a wet and rainy day, our 5th grade students had an unforgettable adventure in New Orleans! Students explored the amazing exhibits at the Audubon Aquarium and visited incredible animals at the Audubon Zoo.

To top it all off, our brave students stepped outside their comfort zones and sampled unique treats like cricket cookies and cinnamon sugar mealworms! 🦗🍪 What a fun-filled day of learning, exploration, and new experiences! 🌧️🐠🦒✨

This week at QUE, we celebrated the BEST educators around during Teacher Appreciation Week! 💙💛

From the Breakfast & Snack Bar on Monday to tacos and nachos on Cinco de Mayo, our teachers were showered with love all week long! 🍳🌮🍦 We topped Wednesday off with sweet treats, permanent jewelry, and Chick-fil-A biscuits, enjoyed delicious Bar-B-Q plates and cool treats on Thursday, and wrapped the week up with loaded teas, chicken salad boxes, and special PTO gifts on Friday! 🎁✨

Every detail was planned to remind our teachers just how appreciated they are for the love, dedication, and hard work they pour into our students each and every day. QUE teachers truly “SET THE BAR” high, and we are so thankful for the impact they make daily! 🏆📚❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Quitman Upper Elementary PTO , QUE Administration, and everyone who helped make this week so special for our staff!
