✨ It’s Good to Be Back, Hornet Nation! 💚🐝

Boles ISD has officially kicked off the 2026–2027 school year, and what a great start it’s been! Last week, we welcomed our newest Hornets during our Groovy New Staff Orientation, where they were introduced to the most rad and far-out people that make Boles ISD such a special place.

On Monday, all teachers and staff returned for District In-Service and a Welcome Back Breakfast, packed with valuable learning, collaboration, and celebration! We proudly recognized our 2026–2027 Teachers of the Year, enjoyed a fun Kahoot competition, and handed out some awesome prizes to our trivia champions. A huge THANK YOU to Arms of Hope for graciously hosting us in the Chapel and providing a delicious lunch. We truly appreciate your partnership and hospitality!

Throughout the week, our campuses stayed busy with professional development, classroom preparations and Meet the Teacher night. Some delicious refreshments from The Dirty Q and lunch catered by Ana Shew, were provided by the district as a small token of appreciation for our incredible employees. Now, the classrooms are ready, the hallways are waiting, and the bells will soon be ringing! Our teachers and staff can’t wait to welcome back the very best part of Boles ISD—our students!

We’ll see everyone on Monday, August 10th! Here’s to an incredible year of learning, growth, and making memories together. 💚🐝
