This is a certification for obtaining your concealed carry license for Illinois or Missouri. Day one will consist of basic firearm training, and day two will be legal studies. Students will participate in a course of live fire on day two for qualification. Students will need to bring their own fi****ms and ammo.

Former students that need recertification may come on day two. The cost of recertification is $50.

Okay folks, this is a great example for when selecting a trainer. This is a easy answer. If you choose to participate in recreation ma*****na. You can not possess or purchase fi****ms. It is against federal and state laws. The choice is yours ma*****na or guns.

FOID UPDATE FROM STATE POLICE

Finally got through to ISP and here is the response to FOID card up for renewal.

Yes, renewing your FOID card during your Conceal Carry "Under Review" time will delay your Conceal Carry renewal. However, you can still LEGALLY carry while Under Review. If your FOID card expires, You CAN NOT LEGALLY carry!! They now recommend that you renew your FOID no matter where in the process your Conceal Carry application is at!!

However, ISP allows themselves 120 CALENDAR days, (NOT working days, M-F) to process your application for Conceal Carry. You can go to your account and physically count the days to 120 and take the chance that all will be complete before FOID expires. If FOID expires your Conceal is not valid and go back to 16 hours training.

So ultimately the choose is up to you ! Renew or Wait and try?????
