From its humble beginnings in 2015, AMIkids Gadsden has blossomed into a powerful force for change in Quincy, Florida. As a private nonprofit after-school program, we are committed to nurturing the dreams of local students aged 11-17, helping them carve their paths toward success through education and workforce development, job placement, and unwavering support. By transforming their behaviors, eq

uipping them with essential life skills, and fostering a sense of community, we empower these young individuals to rise above their circumstances and become catalysts for positive change.

Our young people had the amazing opportunity to visit Florida State University’s Basketball Training Center, where they participated in an exciting basketball camp and experienced what it’s like to train at the collegiate level.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting members of both the FSU Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams. Our young people also received a tour of the incredible training facility, giving them a firsthand look at the dedication, discipline, and excellence it takes to compete at the highest level.

Our young people recently visited the Leon Works Expo where they were able to connect with employers and academic institutions, and gain hands on experience. This was an opportunity for them to learn about industries such as healthcare, IT, and trades.

Dress for Success Day was a fantastic experience for our young people! They arrived dressed in their best professional attire, ready to learn how to make a great first impression. Throughout the day, they gained valuable tips on dressing for interviews, presenting themselves confidently, and understanding professional behavior. Everyone looked sharp and walked away with the skills to succeed in future career opportunities. 💎💎💎
