Interested in technical or trade school? Academic Talent Search is visiting John Wood’s Workforce Development Center! The WDC focuses on welding, electrical, truck driving, computer design, and much more! The event is July 2nd 10am-1pm at the Workforce Development Center. Lunch will be included. Call the Academic Talent Search office at 217-641-4352 by July 1st to register!

What a great start to summer! ☀️ Students at our 2026 Academic Talent Search Academy participated in archery, golf, STEM, junk journaling, and so much more. They also learned from incredible guest speakers about building resumes, college, scholarships and career exploration. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!

Sign up is now open for our next event! All new students and their families are invited to join us at Krazy Town Trampoline Park for an afternoon of fun on June 13th! Spring is a great time for campus visits! This year our students visited University of Illinois Springfield, Culver-Stockton College, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Junior and Seniors are also eligible for campus reimbursements if you visit any schools this summer! Just contact the ATS office for more information!
