Great learning happens when curiosity meets the real world.
In our Lotus Montessori playground, nature is the ultimate classroom. Curiosity takes the lead as our children discover grubs in the soil, examine molted insect exoskeletons up close, and ask big, thoughtful questions about the world around them.
When a discovery happens—whether it’s a tiny shell, an insect on the fence, or a surprise visit from a friendly Quincy sparrow, wild bunny, or wild turkey—it doesn't stop there. Our young learners take that wonder back inside, completing their own "research" to find answers and understand the ecosystem they share.
By encouraging hands-on exploration and scientific inquiry right in our own backyard, we help foster a lifelong love of nature, observation, and learning.

Today the children witnessed the turtle life cycle up close—moments that can’t be replicated in a book or on a screen. From egg laying to the quiet anticipation of what comes next, they experienced nature’s rhythm with curiosity, respect, and wonder.
