Quincy After School Child Care (QCARE), is a non-profit organization providing licensed care for school aged children, K through age thirteen, within the elementary schools. Our EEC licensed school age programs are located in the following elementary schools:

Tomorrow is the FIRST DAY of QCARE, and we’re so excited to welcome our kids back! 💜🧡💚🩵

Our teams are ready for an awesome year filled with fun, friendships, creativity, learning, and plenty of QCARE memories! 🌟

🎒 A few reminders for tomorrow:
💧 Bring a water bottle
☀️ Bring sunscreen as needed
🍎 Lunches are ONLY needed on Wednesdays due to the early dismissal schedule.

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow and officially kick off the 2026–2027 QCARE school year! 🎉

📚✨ We’re getting ready to welcome our QCARE students back!

This week, our staff are coming together for orientation—connecting as a team, preparing our program spaces, reviewing expectations, and getting everything ready for an amazing school year ahead! 💚

We can’t wait to open the doors at all of our QCARE programs next week and welcome back our returning students while meeting some new faces, too! 🌟

📅 September 9: 1st Grade–Middle School begin
📅 September 14: Kindergarten begins

Summer is officially over, and our Lost & Found has A LOT of items! 😅 We have many water bottles, hats, lunch boxes, and other belongings that were left behind throughout the summer.
📸 Please take a look through the photos to see if you recognize anything that belongs to your child!
If you spot an item that belongs to your child, please make sure to claim it as soon as possible.

There will be NO QCARE programming available this week as our team works diligently to prepare for the upcoming school year. Our staff will be busy getting our teams and sites ready to welcome everyone back for another great year!

From bubbles and dancing to art, games, and so much more, Unit 1 was officially in charge of the fun for today’s Takeover Day! 🌈✨

Our youngest campers brought BIG energy as they danced, created, played, got messy, and made the most of one of their final summer days together! 🥹☀️

The Summit Scubas wrapped up their final day of summer with an epic trip to Water Wizz 💦🛝 From racing down the slides to soaking up every last bit of summer fun, it was the perfect way to end an unforgettable summer!

We’ve had an absolute BLAST with our Scubas this summer! 🧡 From adventures and field trips to laughs, friendships, and so many memories in between, this crew made Summer 2026 one to remember.

Thank you to our Scuba families for sharing your summer with us and trusting QCARE to be part of these amazing memories. We’re so grateful for every adventure, every laugh, and every moment! 🥹🧡

Our Unit 1 children enjoyed an exciting trip to the EcoTarium in Worcester! 🐾🔬 They explored, learned, and had plenty of fun experiencing all that the Ecotarium had to offer.

🌊☀️ What a way to wrap up an amazing time at SCUBAS! ☀️🌊

Yesterday on our their final day at site, our children made the most of every moment with exciting water play challenges, fun food challenges, and plenty of laughs! 💦🍕 After all the activities, everyone settled in for a relaxing afternoon with pizza, snacks, and a movie. 🎬🍿

What a fun way to celebrate all the memories made at SCUBAS! 💙 We’re so proud of everything our children experienced, learned, and enjoyed this summer!
