Cheryl Kaiser School Of Dance

Calling all Newsies! Men ages 15-30 are welcome to participate in a weekly dance class to prepare for NEWSIES auditions! Skills and techniques will build off of the previous week; however, students are welcome to attend one class or all of the classes. Advance registration is preferred each week.

Students participating should wear casual clothing that allows for movement and either jazz shoes or socks. If the student owns or can acquire a pair of tap shoes, that would be great!

Please note that these classes are to help the potential male actors prepare for NEWSIES auditions. These classes are neither an audition nor a rehearsal, and the ability to participate has no bearing on casting.

Saturdays| March 2, 9, 16, 23; April 6, 13, 20, 27 | 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Tuition is free! Registration information can be found through the Quincy Community Theatre website under the "Volunteer" section. We hope to see you there!

Every ballet begins with a dream, just like Clara in The Nutcracker as she travels to the Land of the Sweets! We are just two short weeks away from the opening night of our show! Our dancers are so excited for you to see all of their hard work on the stage.

Last Saturday we had the pleasure of working with Encore! Quincy. They hosted a sing-a-long and viewing of The Wizard of Oz. Glinda, Dorothy, and the Wicked Witch of the West made an appearance for photo-ops and to meet with the children who attended the event! It’s always a pleasure working with Encore!
