We're off to a great start in the new fiscal year with our Meat Donation Program! ๐๐
So far, the Foundation has helped cover the processing costs for 10 hogs and 1 steer, providing locally raised meat to families in need throughout our community.
A huge thank you to Adams Electric Cooperative Penny Power and the Quincy Service League for their generous grant support. Because of their contributions, our dollars go even farther to fight food insecurity in Adams County.
The donated meat has been distributed to Horizons Soup Kitchen and the Community for Christ Assistance Center, where it will help provide nutritious meals to those who need it most.
Thank you to our local farmers, grant partners, and community organizations for making this program possible! โค๏ธ
