Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Tau Theta Omega Chapter, recently gathered for our Annual Chapter Retreat, a time to reconnect, reflect, and refocus on the work ahead.

We strengthened our connections, remembered our why, celebrated our accomplishments, and began planning for the year ahead.

Together, we explored our new program targets and turned ideas into action, preparing to serve our community with greater intention and impact.

Service to All Mankind was exemplified at yesterday’s Phirst Phamily Back-to-School Giveaway at Chattahoochee Elementary School.

This year, alongside the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Pi Psi Lambda, the ladies of Tau Theta Omega worked diligently to ensure that all students in our community are equipped for the school year.

Offerings included mesh backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, haircuts and sustenance for the day. The Baby Jacket Faculty and Staff were also present and working to prepare for an excellent school year.

This past Sunday, Tau Theta Omega Chapter hosted its 3rd Annual Divine Nine Worship Service, celebrating faith, unity, and the enduring bonds of sisterhood and brotherhood.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Divine Nine family from Gadsden and Leon Counties—Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated®, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated®, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated®—for joining us in worship and fellowship. Special thanks to Rev. Dr. Bernard E. Hudson, First Lady Alicia Hudson, and the Arnett Chapel AME Church family for their warm hospitality and gracious welcome.

This meaningful service provided an opportunity to come together as one Divine Nine community, strengthen our collective bonds, and recognize the senior members of Tau Theta Omega whose legacy of service continues to inspire and guide our work.

On yesterday, members of Tau Theta Omega gathered for Sip & Send: Postcards to the Polls, turning fellowship into action through civic engagement. This week, 1,100 handwritten postcards will reach voters in our Adopted Pink Pearl Precinct, encouraging participation and reminding our community that every voice and every vote matters.
