BEARD OR NO BEARD? YOU DECIDE! 🧔🪒

Our Principal, Jason Hawkins, is putting his facial hair on the line for a great cause! We are excited to announce the Principal’s Challenge, a special event sponsored by our wonderful Booster Club to support the Principal’s Advisory Group (PAG).

The Goal: $500
The Stakes: If we hit the goal, Principal Hawkins will shave his entire beard and mustache LIVE!

The PAG is vital to our school community, giving our students a voice in leadership and helping us "prepare all learners to thrive." Every dollar raised goes directly toward student-led initiatives and campus improvements. A huge thank you to the Boosters for sponsoring this effort!

How to help us reach the goal:
📲 Scan to Donate: Use your phone to scan the QR code on the flyer to donate online instantly!
💰 Students: Drop your cash or check in the donation receptacles in your classrooms.
🏢 Community & Families: Cash or checks can also be dropped off at the Front Office.

Let’s reach that $500 mark and see a "fresh-faced" Principal Hawkins!

February is Career Technical Education (CTE) Month, and we'd like to share some of the exciting things happening in teacher Jake Sandlin's Auto Shop class this year. One project his students are working on is removing the transmission and engine from a 1986 Ford F-150. "I plan to have them rebuild the engine and tear the transmission down," Mr. Sandlin says. Another student is working on a complete restoration of his 1971 Mercury Cougar. The Auto Mechanics CTE pathway allows students to explore a career path with hands-on experience, as well as teaching the basics of automotive mechanics, which may lead to further opportunities in the field.
