✨ A Huge Thank You to Our McKinney-Vento Liaisons! ✨

PAEC is proud to recognize Melissa Cephus (Taylor County) and Amy Hicks (Holmes County) for representing our region at the National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY) Conference!

The NAEHCY Conference is one of the nation’s leading events focused on supporting children and youth experiencing homelessness. It brings together educators and advocates from across the country to share strategies, learn best practices, and strengthen support systems for our most vulnerable students.

Melissa and Amy gained valuable insights on:
✔ Identifying and supporting McKinney-Vento students
✔ Building strong district and community partnerships
✔ Ensuring educational stability and access to services
✔ Legislative updates and national trends
✔ Strategies for empowering families and youth

We’re grateful for their dedication and commitment to bringing this knowledge back to our districts. Thank you both for all you do to support our students and families! 💙🏫✨
