Quilcene Preschool

Quilcene Preschool Developmentally appropriate classes, 9am to 1pm Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday. We aim to set a solid foundation for lifelong learning in Quilcene.

Teacher Sierra McCoy is excited to be teaching young children in a developmentally appropriate curriculum for 3- to 6-year olds, tailored to individual needs. Her mentor is Viviann Kuehl, a Washington state certified teacher with a primary special education endorsement. Viviann draws on over 20 years of experience in cooperative preschools, public schools, ECEAP, and Waldorf schools.Our preschool

operates three days a week--Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm. Each day starts and ends with a circle time, and includes a nature walk, stories and classroom activities, provided snack and lunch from home.Tuition is paid by Quilcene School District, including snacks and materials. Scholarships are available. Enrollment is open, with students accepted throughout the year. Applications are accepted at the preschool and at Quilcene School District.

Spring Nature walks with Miss Viviann and Ms. Munn are every Friday at 10 a.m. in March, April and May, starting at the picnic shelter in Quilcene Park, next to the community center. These walks are free and fun, and open to all!

Oh my gosh it is a new year, a new location (@ Quilcene Elementary) . Tomorrow is our first day of preschool. We have opened our classroom to better help our community by accommodating more preschool students in our area. Please reach out to Quilcene School District for more information.
