Reminder: The school open house is from 1-7 PM today. You can come meet your teachers and find your classrooms. Some clubs will have representatives there to answer questions as well. The meeting for incoming freshmen will be at 6 PM. Hope to see you there!
Faculty will have a dinner break from 4-5.

Fall Sports Parent Meeting!

Fall Sports Parent Meeting, 7/28

Any athlete who is interested in trying out for a middle school, jv or varsity sports team this fall is expected to attend the fall handbook meeting on Tuesday, July 28th, at 6 pm in the new gym. Please bring a parent with you, also. Teams will have breakout meetings after the handbook meeting to cover topics related directly to their sport. Please contact Mr. Cubbage (athletic director) or Mr. Dawson (assistant athletic director) at 540-477-2732 if you have any questions.

School is out, summer meals are in! Shenandoah County Public Schools is participating in the Seamless Summer Option and will be providing nutritious, free meals to children and teens ages 18 and under. Breakfast and lunch will be available June 1 through June 29 and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the sites and times listed below:

Ashby-Lee Elementary School (480 Stonewall Lane Quicksburg, VA 22847)
W. W. Robinson Elementary School (1231 Susan Avenue Woodstock, VA 22664)
Sandy Hook Elementary School (162 Stickley Loop Strasburg, VA 22657)
• Breakfast served 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
• Lunch served 11:15 a.m. -11:45 a.m.

The Stonewall Jackson High School gym was packed for the 2026 Graduation Ceremony Saturday night! Principal Mike Lenox and Senior Class President Hailey Wilkins congratulated the senior class for all of their hard work and encouraged them to shoot for the stars as they pursue their future careers. Additionally, students who had earned honors, scholarships and awards were recognized!
