We will be offering NFMS Girls Volleyball this fall! Tryouts will be 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6th, & 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7th, with determinations starting at 4:30 p.m. that afternoon!

💫❤️🖤🤍💫 Earlier this month, NFMS FCCLA attended the 2026 National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. where they participated in workshops and meetings, competed in STAR Events, explored the city, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Our NFMS students competed in eight STAR Events, and we're proud to share these national results:
Kate Rinker – Event Management: Gold, 5th Place
Fiona Heishman & Brooklyn Saeler – Focus on Children: Silver
Rose Segaline & Carmella McMinn – Interior Design: Gold, 7th Place
Chris Perez Ramirez – Interpersonal Communications: Gold, 3rd Place
Aven Booher – Professional Presentation: Gold, 2nd Place
Jessa Laravie – Say Yes to FCS Education: Gold, 1st Place
Brianna Malpica & Cassidy Pigg – Sports Nutrition: Gold, 8th Place
Khloe Ryman – Teach or Train: Gold, 7th Place

FCCLA Advisor, Ms. Copp says:
I'm incredibly proud of all of our competitors and we're already looking ahead to next year's National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas. We'll be working hard throughout the school year to help our students earn another opportunity to compete on the national stage!

North Fork Middle School took eight students to FFA State Convention, who ranked second in the Middle School Agriscience Mechanics Career Development Event, sixth in the Middle School Plant Science Career Development Event and fifth in the FFA Quizbowl Career Development Event. Additionally, they were named a Superior Chapter and received a Bronze Public Relations Award. Congratulations!!

At tonight’s school board meeting, Ms. Copp and our FCCLA were recognized for their outstanding performance at state conference and Ms. Brady was recognized for her participation in the SCPS Leadership Academy. 🖤❤️
