SUNY Adirondack changed my life. Having been laid off from a sales job, I took my severance pay to return to school. When I graduated with my A.A., I was a month shy of my 29th birthday. I thought I could never catch up in life, that a chance at having a career had passed me up. Little did I know that my associate degree would kick-start a career in nonprofit management spanning three decades.

My career brought me back to SUNY Adirondack, where I work in the Foundation. Here, I get the opportunity to help others on their path. At the Foundation, we strive to ensure that funds are available to make educational aspirations a reality.
