Congratulations to all of yesterday’s primary winners! We especially want to congratulate Assemblymember Diana Moreno, who has been nominated to serve a full term in the Assembly. We are grateful for her support and partnership in just the last few months. We also want to congratulate Claire Valdez for Congress, who is the nominee to succeed Nydia Velazquez in Congressional District 7, as well as Assemblymember Jessica González-Rojas, who has been nominated for State Senate District 13.

There is so much we can say about all the candidates in this year’s especially competitive cycle, but for now, we’re just happy to see so much allyship and representation for immigrants.
