Yesterday, I watched my amazing son graduate, a milestone filled with pride and gratitude. But as I looked around the auditorium, I realized something I can’t ignore: out of 90 students, only 8 were girls.
Where are the girls?
This question opened my eyes to a bigger truth: girls with autism are too often invisible in our schools and communities.
I’ve started a blog to share stories, facts, and resources, and to amplify the voices of girls and families who deserve to be seen and supported.

Hi everyone — thank you so much for being here. My name is Annmarie Johnson-Rowe, and I created this page because of one simple but powerful question I couldn’t ignore: Where are the girls?
