District 25 is Celebrating as a Community!!! Thank you to the Mexico Beyond Mariachi artists from ArtsConnection for providing our students and families with an engaging, interactive workshop! Thank you to PS 129 and Principal Hewlett for hosting. Students and families had the opportunity to explore the vast cultural expression of Mexico through an amazing concert filled with costumes, dance, music, storytelling, and more. Followed by an interactive workshop. It was a wonderful night and we thank everyone who joined us. ArtsConnection Pearl

Thank you to PS 193, Principal Zebrowski and AP Pepe for hosting. Students and families had the opportunity to explore the vibrant traditions of Bomba and plena, two dynamic musical genres rooted in Caribbean culture. They danced and played with instruments, and most importantly, came together as a community to celebrate Caribbean heritage. It was a wonderful night and we thank everyone who joined us. CONGRATULATIONS TO PS 130 FOR WINNING THE ACTIVATION CHALLENGE!!! 🍦🍦🍦 PS 130 had the highest percentage of activated accounts in the month of May, 2026, so District 25 organized a Popsicle in the Park celebration for the entire school! Students enjoyed a dance party this morning, popsicles, and Star War themed stickers. Thank you to PS 130, Principal Specchia, and staff for helping to organize this celebration for our students. It was a wonderful morning spent outside together!! Principal Specchia

On the first day of our KLT Spirit Week, PS 242 students brought in a stuffed buddy. The students enjoyed some time today sharing their stuffies with their friends, and of course making time for some cuddles throughout the day.

PS 129 PTA parents and staff showed our appreciation to out PTA President, Keri Milano for her 6 years of supporting PS 129Q!!! We will miss Keri and are grateful for the years she has provided parent leadership for our students, staff and families.
