As our community continues to grieve the loss of Michael Sherwood, a former member of our faculty, we pause to remember the lasting impact he had on Martin Luther School.
He believed that teaching was about more than sharing facts. Whether he was bringing history to life, talking about his love for theater, or sharing his passion for singing, he encouraged his students to embrace learning with curiosity and enthusiasm. His passions extended beyond the classroom and left a lasting impression on the many lives he touched.
We are grateful for the time he spent as part of the Martin Luther School family and for the dedication, kindness, and joy he brought to our community.
We extend our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences to his family, friends, former students, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
