You can get Octopus Clips to attach the pool noodle to the hula hoop. They’re cheap and work perfectly! 🐙 🕷 Spider-Man Tag — the ultimate tag game! 🕸️ Using pool noodles and hula hoops, kids are moving, reacting, dodging, and having an absolute blast. And yes, I only had four “tentacles” today… but clearly, that didn’t stop the fun! 😂 This game builds locomotor skills, spatial awareness, agility, and responsible decision-making, aligning with SHAPE America National Standards.

Cone Rush is a great activity for working on reaction time and spatial awareness! 👀🏃‍♂️

My one concern is safety. I’d put the poly spots down so they match the color of the cones and spread the playing area out a bit more to give students some extra space and reduce collisions.

Safety first, but I really like this activity! 🙌
Standards: This activity connects well to SHAPE America’s National Standards, especially Standard 1 (motor competence) and Standard 2 (knowledge and application of movement concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics).
