Established in 1908, The School of Education (TSOE) at St. Today, the school has four departments:

Meet some of our Future Catholic School Teachers as they engaged in a virtual reality experience aired on CBS News on Friday, May 8. This partnership with the Education Startup company KreditVerse is to use Virtual Reality as a classroom. Virtual Reality is often used for gaming and entertainment. This is the next revolution in education!

Future Teachers took their next step at the Annual Hartigan Forum, held on Monday, April 27, in the D’Angelo Center and hosted by The School of Education. The event connected student teachers with alumni, principals, district leaders, and education professionals from Catholic, public, and independent schools throughout the region. The event welcomed more than 80 St. John’s University student teachers and provided them with the opportunity to ask questions, glean wisdom, and draw on the experience of representatives from 15 area schools and school districts.
