The School of Information Studies (SIS) is thrilled to announce a new co-authored publication by Professor Nafiz Zaman Shuva in the peer-reviewed Journal of Librarianship and Information Science (JLIS).
The article, titled “I was well informed. It was a great advantage”: Pre-arrival information seeking, information intelligence, and immigrants’ settlement, examines how pre-arrival "information intelligence" and proactive information-seeking provide immigrants with a distinct advantage, paving the way for smoother transitions and more successful long-term settlement.
Congratulations to Professor Shuva on this impactful research!
